Decades of Bridal Style – My post at The Storque

fascinator

Hey guys, I wrote a guest post over at Etsy’ The Storque blog. It’s all about vintage wedding touches, broken down by decade/style.

I think it came out beautifully, mostly because there are so many amazing things on Etsy for me to use to illustrate my points. I kind of wish I could get married five more times just so I could try all the different styles I go through in the post. (Ok, not really.)

I’m kind of embarassed about how much I still love looking at wedding-related things because I totally never considered myself a wedding person, but I guess I just love fancy clothes and throwing parties.

Check it out: Handmade Weddings: Decades of Bridal Style.

Thanks to the kind folks at Etsy, they are such fun to write for.

Oh, I am totally with you on loving to look at wedding stuff. I’m definitely not a “it’s my special princess daaaaaaay” person, so I was shocked at how much I enjoyed planning my wedding. I’ve now been married for nearly four years, and I still love all things wedding. I get my fix by helping my friends with their planning, haha!

After my wedding, I decided I should just throw more parties. Hasn’t happened yet though. :)

It’s good to hear I’m not the only one with these issues. ;)
