Around the Web: February 2nd through March 29th
Interesting stuff from around the web:
- Heidi Merrick :: Dresses – beautiful, beautiful clothes
- Pretty Lace Handwarmers – the purl bee – I love these lace handwarmers, but I wonder how warm they’d really be.
- The BookScans Database – Wow, check out this huge collection of vintage paperback covers. I only wish the images were larger. {via bluelines}
- Design a Textile at V&A – I don’t know if I’d call this “designing” a textile, but it’s fun to play around with. I do love the V&A.
- Apartment Therapy’s Tour of Portland’s Ace Hotel – We stayed at the Ace on our last trip to Portland, and I liked it very much! Minimal and spare rooms with an industrial yet cozy aesthetic, Stumptown next door, and Powell’s down the street.
- Unphotographable: a text account of pictures missed – A catalog of photographs that did not happen, captured in what I think is lovely prose. {via photojojo}

The link to “BookScans Database” is awesome– what a treasure trove. It’s just a shame you can only search through the covers by publisher.
Thanks for the heads-up.
