Around the Web: September 11th through October 27th
Interesting stuff from around the web:
- Fashion-Incubator: Japanese pattern books – great resources here!
- CraftBoom!: 10 Ways to Diversify Your Income as a Crafter or Artist – great tips on bringing in a little extra cash as an artist or crafter
- Feministing: Ten Things You Can Do Right Now to Love Your Body – a short and simple list. Resisting that feeling of inadequacy is incredibly hard, but so worth it.
- Ellen von Unwerth – a comprehensive gallery of the work of one of my all time favorite fashion photographers.
- Luisa Beccaria – Om my god. This designer’s clothing makes me positively ache. I need one of everything she has ever designed.
- Layers of Meaning: Creative Exercise: Feed Your Mind – A little creative pick me up, perfect for a Bradbury fan such as myself.

I just discovered your blog from surfing around a bit on the Wardrobe Refashion site and ohmigod, I love you. You are just so gorgeous and talented and you inspire me.
And… I just HAVE to know. Where did you get those shoes you’re wearing a few posts down with the orange tights? I need them. Please say you didn’t get them in some trendy boutique that I have no hope of finding in Kansas City.
Wow, thank you! That is incredibly sweet of you to say, Amanda.
The shoes are by Jeffrey Campbell, and you can get them on Zappos:

They are awesome, I love them!
